The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has issued Decision No. 1492/QD-SGDHN, approving the registration for trading of shares of Au Lac Joint Stock Company with the stock code ALC, par value of VND 10,000/share.

The number of securities registered for trading is over 56.47 million shares; corresponding to a registered trading value of over 564.7 billion VND. However, the official listing date and the reference price for the first trading day have not yet been announced.

Au Lac has been approved by HNX to trade on UPCoM under the ticker symbol ALC.

Previously, in August 2024, this company was fined 350 million VND by the State Securities Commission for violating its obligations to register for trading and listing, despite having met the requirements to be a public company since 2007.

The company is currently a transportation partner for many major domestic and international oil and gas companies, including global corporations such as Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron , and PetroChina.

Currently, the legal representatives of this company are Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors - a well-known name in the financial market, especially in the power struggle at Eximbank (EIB) in the past, and Mr. Mai Van Tung - General Director.

Regarding the ownership structure as of September 26, 2025, Au Lac's charter capital was recorded at nearly VND 565 billion. Notably, two foreign entities, CONEY PEARL PTE.LTD and POLYSCIAS PTE.LTD, became major shareholders on September 18, 2025, with ownership percentages of 17.13% and 17.70% respectively. Both organizations share the same registered office address in the Keppel Bay Tower (Singapore).

Besides the foreign investment funds, Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy's two children also hold a significant stake. Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Thien Huong Jenny owns 12.81% and Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu Johnny holds 9.82% of the charter capital.

In May 2025, the Au Lac group of shareholders attracted considerable attention in the investment community when it acquired a large number of ACB shares of Asia Commercial Bank.

According to the list of shareholders owning more than 1% of the charter capital published by ACB on April 29, 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thien Huong (JENNY) and Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu (JONNY) respectively hold over 63.2 million and 51 million ACB shares.

The total number of ACB shares held by these two individuals and their related parties is over 174.76 million shares.

Compared to the announcement in September 2024, both individuals have increased their ownership stake in Asia Commercial Bank, with the total number of shares held by the related shareholder group rising from 173.83 million shares to 174.76 million shares.

In the previously published list, one shareholder related to Ms. Thuy holding ACB shares is Thien Huong International Education Village Joint Stock Company.

Based on ACB's closing price of 24,050 VND/share on April 29, 2025, the value of the aforementioned shares is over 4,200 billion VND.

May 23, 2025 is the ex-dividend date for the 2024 dividend payment of 10% in cash and 15% in shares by ACB. The cash payment is scheduled for June 5, 2025, and the shares will be transferred before June 30. However, to date, Asia Commercial Bank has not announced the updated ownership percentage of this group of shareholders.

Regarding business results, Au Lac's Q3/2025 financial report shows contrasting trends between revenue and profit.

In the third quarter, Au Lac's revenue reached 342 billion VND, a decrease of 8.3% compared to the same period last year. After deducting taxes and expenses, Au Lac recorded a net profit of 70 billion VND, while it incurred a loss of nearly 15 billion VND in the same period last year.

For the first nine months of the year, revenue reached 957 billion VND, a decrease of 18% compared to the same period last year, but pre-tax profit increased by 21% to 236 billion VND.

As of September 30, 2025, Au Lac's total assets reached VND 2,240 billion, with cash and bank deposits accounting for a large proportion, nearly 44%. The capital structure shows that liabilities decreased by 20% compared to the beginning of the year, to VND 691 billion, of which total outstanding loans accounted for VND 517 billion.
