Three strategic orientation solutions for breakthrough import and export

Firstly, functional units under the Ministry continue to promote and improve the quality of consultation and proposals to perfect mechanisms and policies, especially decrees and circulars to internalize international commitments under FTAs of which our country is a member. Effectively connecting helps domestic enterprises participate in the production and supply chains of FDI enterprises and large global enterprises, creating markets for industrial development.
Strengthen market information work, promptly provide information on market demand (especially new markets, potential markets), new regulations and policies of local markets and provide policy advice to enterprises, associations, and import-export industries.
Continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of trade promotion activities; promote the development of e-commerce, especially cross-border e-commerce, promote the development of supply chains and circulation of goods. Proactively coordinate, guide, and support enterprises, associations, and industries to effectively exploit FTAs of which our country is a member; at the same time, advise on speeding up negotiations to upgrade existing FTAs and signing new FTAs with potential partners to diversify products, supply chains, and export markets.
Improve the capacity of trade defense work, strengthen the early warning mechanism on the risk of lawsuits in foreign markets; guide businesses and associations on how to respond promptly and effectively to trade lawsuits, protecting the legitimate interests of Vietnamese businesses in international trade.
Second, ministries, branches and localities continue to pay attention to and coordinate to remove difficulties, create favorable conditions, promote production and export of businesses; actively negotiate to open more export markets for Vietnamese goods, especially for agricultural and aquatic products. At the same time, focus on implementing solutions and policies to direct credit to production and business, prioritizing the import and export sector, creating more favorable conditions for businesses to access credit capital to serve production and export.
Third, import and export businesses, associations and industries should closely follow the market, respond flexibly to the market to organize appropriate and effective production and import and export plans. Promote official export activities associated with building product brands.
Actively coordinate with units of relevant ministries and branches to promptly receive information on needs.
