Import duties are obligations that the importer must fulfill when carrying out the procedures for importing dolls. Import tax is an obligation to the state that the importer must fulfill when carrying out the procedures for importing dolls. There are two types of import duties, namely import VAT and import duty. To determine import tax, you can refer to the calculation method below.

Import tax determined by HS code Import tax is calculated according to the formula:
Import tax = CIF value x % of tax rate

The CIF value is determined by the ex-factory value of the goods plus all costs to bring the goods to the first border gate of the importing country.

Import VAT is determined according to the formula:
Value Added Tax = (CIF Value + Import Tax) x % of the tax rate.

For countries or territories to which Vietnam has signed trade agreements. If there is a certificate of origin, the import tax is usually 0%.
